Create SMS from an Application

There is an option in Clearmatch Fusion that allows finance company users to send SMS messages directly from an application. They can select the available SMS templates (based on the SMS configurations defined) from a list of applicable messages and the relevant SMS will be sent.


1. Login to Clearmatch Fusion with the relevant credentials:



2. Navigate to Home Pages > Borrowing:



NOTE: If the application number is known, the search option Applications can be selected from the drop down list and the application number can be entered directly in the search field (in the top right hand corner):



3. Using the Filter Options, search for the applicatoin that requires the SMS message (click on the  button once the filter selection has been made):



4. Once the application has been found, select it (click on the link via the Number):



5. This will redirect to the Display Application page for the selected application. Click on the Actions Panel  > SMS > Create SMS:



6. From the drop down list, select the SMS Template that needs to be sent, select the Customer (based on the application) from the drop down list and enter any Customer Letter Text if required NOTE: The text will be placed in the document variable "CustomLetterText" if it exists in the email template (which gives finance company users the abillity to add text into the SMS template that is relevant at the time of sending the SMS) :



Click on the  button to send the SMS message to the customer or the  button to return back to the Display Application page.

7. To check whether or not the SMS message was sent successfully, while on the Display Application page, click on the Messaging association tab (alternatively this can be selected from the drop down list or quick links, if enabled):
