A display variable is a data point that can be taken from Clearmatch and used in a document template or note or email template. For example the first line of a customer address is a display variable called dvAddressName1 .

If you wished to use this in a document template or email template or activity feed then your text would have to include in the template would be  [[AddressName1]]. When the document, email or note is generated it populates the area enclosed with brackets [[ XX ]] with the variable information 

To view the display variables that are available for example against a  finance agreement navigate to a finance agreement.

To view the display variables that are available against a customer the same process is followed except the user will needt o navigate to a customer. Same applies for application, transfer money in request and any other place that has display variables
