The investor business rule is captured against an investment category and will determine certain functionality for all investors that are assigned to the investment category, example
- if Smarfund BOTS will place bids for the investors
- how rates are applied i.e., using BBSW or Credit Ratings
- maximum transfer amounts
Within the asset class
1. Navigate to Home Pages-> Investing -> Investment categories
2. Select the specific category that you would like to capture the business rule details for.
3. Go to Actions hamburger menu -> Business rules -> Investor
Effective Date: The date the business rule will be applied from.
Maximum investor transfer: the maximum amount that will be allowed to be transferred out of the platform in any one withdrawal from the portal.
Rates based on : Will investing rates be based on BBSW or on credit rating tables. At this point the BBSW option is only available in premium funding and should be set to BBSW for both the "balance sheet" and the "warehouse funding" investment categories.
Funding margin: the margin that will be added or deducted from the BBWS rate when investing outside of the warehouse take place for investors in the investment category. Investors that participate in warehouse funding will have the funding margins set within the warehouse business rule where the participation details are defined. This margin is specifically used for "balance sheet" investors.
Allow Smartfund BOTS bidding: will investors in this category be allowed to have bids placed by the Smartfund BOTS engine. Note that investors participating in "balance sheet" and also "warehouse funding" should not allow Smartfund BOTS to place bids.
