Invoices can be loaded against applications in two ways:
- Invoices for predefined vendors. i.e. vendors that have been defined in Fusion.
- Ad hoc invoices where the vendor is not pre defined
Once you have filtered and located the application that the invoice is attached to, the invoice details can be viewed by clicking the “vendor invoice” tab at the bottom of the application page.
If you would like to view or modify the invoice details, select the invoice from the list.
In order to capture an invoice, select the actions / hamburger menu and click on either “ad hoc invoice” or "vendor invoice" under the “vendor invoice section”.
Ad Hoc Invoice
Vendor - The vendor is not pre defined and as such any vendor name can be supplied.
Invoice Fees - The Invoice Fees can be used to capture the fee amount that the Finance company is earning for invoice funding. If supplied correctly this will allow for detailed reconciliation of profit and loss down to loan level for the finance company, i.e. Invoice Fee Amount – (interest paid on loan + all charges) = Profit or loss for the finance company for the loan.
Vendor Invoice
For an vendor invoice the detail are the same except the vendor must be predefined as a business. This will be used by finance companies when they need to control or analyse the applications per vendor.
