Assign a user to a user group

Finance companies are able to assign their users to the security user groups they have created.

Users need to be assigned to a user group in order for them to inherit the access rights and use the operations and functions assigned to the user group.

1. Log into Clearmatch Fusion with the relevant credentials (namely as a user with appropriate access, to make the change): 



2. Navigate to Configuration > Security:













3. Select the Users option under User Maintenance:



4. The Filter Options can be used to search for the system user that needs to be assigned to a user group (click on the  button once the filter selection has been made):



5. Select the name of the user (by clicking on the hyperlink from the user's Full Name or Login):



6. This will redirect to the Display User page for the selected system user. Click on the Actions Panel  > Functions > Add To User Group:



7. From the User Group drop down list, select the group that the user should be associated with:



Click on the button to apply the change and assign the selected user group to the user or the  button to return back to the Display User page.

NOTE: There is an alternative way of adding a system user to a user group, but via a different menu. The instructions on how to do this are outlined below.

3. Select the User Groups option under User Groups:



4. From the list of available user groups, select the one that a system user needs to be allocated to:



5. This will redirect to the Display User Group page for the selected user group. Click on the Actions Panel  > Functions > Add User:


6. Type the name of the system user in the User field:



Click on the  button to successfully add the user to the user group or the  button to return back to the Display User Group page.
