Adding business governance relationships to a business customer

Once a business customer has been created,  a relationship can be added against the new business customer. Relationship customers are individuals or businesses that have a relationship and are associated with the customer. 

The following relationship customers can be created against a business customer:
- Principal Investor 
- Beneficiary (personal or business)
- Trustee (personal or business)
- Partner (personal or business)
- Director (personal or business)
- Owner/Shareholder (personal or business) 

This article will outline how to add a relationship customer to an existing business customer.

1. Log into Clearmatch Fusion with the relevant credentials:



2. Navigate to Customers > Business Customer Search:




3. Use the Filter Options to try and find the customer (click on the  button once the filter selection has been made):



4. After finding the customer, select them (click on the link via their Name or Number):





5. This will show the Display Business screen for the selected business customer. Click on the Action Panel  > Relationships > from the list of available relationships, select the relevant one that needs to be assigned to the business customer: 



Depending on the requirement, once a relationships has been selected from the list e.g. beneficiary, trustee, partner, etc, it will redirect to the Search Personal Customers page:    




6. If the relationship customer has already been created and registered from the portal, use the Filter Options to search for the customer. If not, the customer will need to be created by clicking on the cross/plus  icon. The full details with step-by-step instructions on how to create a new customer is outlined in this article

7. Once the customer has been found, they can be selected by clicking on the Select option: 



8. Once the relationship has been added, click on the Relationship association tab (or Quick Links if enabled) to check whether the relationship has been successfully added to the customer:




NOTE: Once the relationship customer has been added and if the relationship customer has not been AML verified, this process will need to be completed. The steps on how to AML verify a customer is outlined in this article

In order to AML verify the relationship customer, go to the customer record either by clicking on the hyperlink via their Number from the Relationships association  tab:



Alternative: Search for the customer from the Search Personal Customers screen: 



Alternative: Search for the customer using the Search bar at the top right hand corner of the page (enter the customer number in the search field and click on the search icon):
