BBSW (bank bill swap) rates
Used for investors that are funding at rates determined by the BBSW rates.
The BBSW rate will need to be defined and it is the 3 month mid rate that is used.
The final rate that will be used for investing will be the BBSW rate plus or minus
- the funding margin for the investors participating in warehouse funding. See here for details.
- the funding margin for investors as defined against the investment category i.e. for "balance sheet" investors. See here for details.
At this point BBSW rates can only be used in premium funding.
Within the asset class
1. Navigate to Configuration -> Setup -> BBSW Rates
Effective Date: The date the rate will be applied from.
Rate: the 3 month mid point rate
If the BBSW rates are changed please ensure that the funding margins are correct in order to achieve the finals rate you require, especially on negative funding margins.
