Online banking adverse words

The online banking adverse words list looks for words that have been input into a list and flags them to the credit department during the evaluation process. Navigation to find the current list for the product that you are using is outlined below.

1. Navigate to Configuration > Organisational Structure:

2. Select Originator Group Products under Originator Groups :

3. Select the relevant product from the list by selecting what is shown under the Originator Group or Product :

4. Select the Business Rule option from the association tab either by selecting it from the drop down list or the quick link (if enabled):

5. Select the Adverse Online Banking business rule by clicking on the Description name:

6. Click on the Other tab which will display all of the adverse words associated with Yodlee:

If you want to change this, you are unable to update an existing business rule so a new one will need to be created. To do this, complete the following.

1. Navigate to Configuration > Organisational Structure :

2. Select Originator Group Products under Originator Groups :

3. Select the relevant product from the list by selecting what is shown under the Originator Group or Product :

4. Select the Actions menu > Business Rules > Adverse Online Banking :

5. Enter the new Effective Date (or press the Today link to add the current date), the number of months for Yodlee to review, and any additions or deletions to the adverse words themselves separated by a comma. NOTE : the percentage sign is used as a wildcard:

Select the button to create the new rule (and overwrite the existing one) or select the button to exit out of the process.

NOTE : Providing you have the decision tree set to use Adverse Online Banking as an input, then it will do whatever you have programmed into the decision tree when it encounters any of the words in an application that has a linked Yodlee bank statement feed. Obviously it is ineffective for those that do not invoke Yodlee prior to being evaluated.
