Office 365 - Move unmatched emails to unmatch folder setup


NOTE: YOU HAVE TO CREATE A CUSTOM FOLDER – ‘UnMatch‘ FIRST BEFORE CONTINUING WITH THE TASKS BELOW.

1. Click Settings icon from top right menu
2. Click Mail link from the bottom right menu
3. Click ‘Inbox and sweep rules’ from the Options menu on the left hand side - > Mail -> Automatic processing
4. Click Plus icon under inbox Rules section

5. Now you can see popup New inbox rule window, enter Name e.g. Move Unmatch Emails. Select It includes these words -> in the subject, on the popup specify words or phrases window
a. Enter word [UnMatched] then click plus icon   to add it.
b. Click OK button to save

6. Select ‘Do all of the following’ -> Move the message to folder -> select ‘Move, copy, or delete’ -> select ‘Move the message to folder…’
a. On the popup window select UnMatch
b. Click OK button to save.

Final Result

All un-matched emails will apply that rule and move into UnMatch folder, UnMatched emails subject include [UnMatched] and content include *****UnMatched*****
