There are a number of pages in the portal that can be accessed directly without having to sign into the portal. This allows a finance company to supply URL links directly to specific portal pages from emails and SMS messages.
The pages in the portal are made available to access via token authentication via SMS. The following pages below can be accessed directly by using the links mentioned and replacing the parts in yellow with the relevant details:
- Upload document page

When the user clicks on the link in the SMS or email they will be navigated through the following flow:
- The pages will only be allowed to be accessed if the user has supplied a “valid” mobile number AND the mobile configuration settings exist for the originator group in Clearmatch.
- A token will be generated and a SMS sent to the customer on their mobile number. The content for the message sent will be obtained from the content blocks in the originator group allowing business to modify as they please. Example“Your [[FinanceCompany]] PIN is XXXXX“.
- The SMS message will be sent directly as placing in a queue will result in a delay. If the SMS is sent and the SMS gateway returns an error that the SMS could not be delivered (perhaps the mobile number is invalid), then a message will be displayed to inform the user that the mobile number is not valid and they can contact the finance company customer services “We were unable to deliver a SMS to the phone number. Please call our customer service team. Mon – Friday, 8am – 6pm”. This message will be available for the finance company to edit in the content messaging in Clearmatch.
- The customer will be presented with a page where they will need to supply the token sent to them via SMS.
- If the token supplied is valid against the customer and application, the customer will be navigated into the relevant page.
- A token has an expiry period. If the token supplied has expired it will be treated as an invalid token and a message displayed. The content for the message sent will be obtained from the content blocks in the originator group allowing the finance company to modify as they please.
- If the token supplied is not valid a message will be displayed informing the user that the token is invalid. The content for the message sent will be obtained from the content blocks in the originator group allowing the finance company to modify as they please.
- A check will be performed to ensure that the application etc. belongs to the user who is trying to access the page, i.e. the borrower and the user attempting to access the page are one and the same. If not the member will be navigated to the home page in the portal.
