Basics for creating document templates in Clearmatch

Document templates need to be defined to Clearmatch on exactly where they are to be used. Meaning that a template created in Clearmatch will not be used until it is defined within a document configuration.

1. Create a document template (see detailed article here on how to create a document template).

2. Use the application document config to tell Clearmatch that it is to be used by the application.e.g. Application Declined.
Use the Listing Document Configs option under Document Configuration to tell Clearmatch that it is to be used by the listing e.g. Loan Offer:

Use the Fast Track Listing Document Configs option under Document Configuration to tell Clearmatch that it is to be used in by Fast Track:

Use the Automated Document Config option under Document Configuration to tell Clearmatch that it is to be used in an automated process e.g. Dishonoured direct debit:

3. Use the Workflow documents to trigger the generation of the document if it is required to be generated at a particular status.
Use the Listing Workflow Documents option under Document Workflow On Status Change, to define a status within the listing for the document to be automatically generated e.g. Loan Offer document generated at Awaiting Confirmation status.

Use the Application Workflow Documents option under Document Worfklow On Status Change to define a status within the application for the document to be automatically generated e.g. Application Declined Letter document generated at Declined status.

Use the Fast Track Listing Workflow Documents option under Document Workflow On Status Change to define a status within Fast Track application process for the document to be automatically generated e.g. Declined document when Fast Track application status becomes Declined.

NOTE: You do not need to define the document in both the Document Config and the Workflow. If your document template only exists in the Document Config, then you will need to manually generate the document from within the listing, account, fast track.  The Workflow is to specifically define if you want the document generated automatically when the listing, application etc reaches a certain status.

VARIABLES: Important; not all of the variables for documents in Clearmatch exist against all of the states of a loan. For example, display variables that can be used in letters in the listing config cannot be used in the account config. See related article on Display Variables for an explanation of these.
