System users - add an external login

Clearmatch allows other finance company users to login to system while using their own company authentications for the purpose of authenticating users into the Clearmatch applications. As a result they will not need to have a separate login credentials to access Clearmatch and they will be able to use their own company credentials to access Clearmatch.

Users will still need to exist in Clearmatch as system users and they will have an "external " login details that will allow for any number of provider login details to be supplied. In order to add an external login details to a system user 

1. Navigate to Configuration -> Security


2. Select Users under User Maintenance 



3. Use the filter options and click on  to select the user that you need to add external login details


4. Once the user has been filtered, select the user by clicking on the link via the full name or login 




5. Then go to Actions menu -> Add External Login


6. Provide the details on provider and provider id



Provider  : external provider that will be used to login to Clearmatch
Provider ID : provider id needs to be unique and cannot be a duplicate active provider id with the same provider across all users in the finance company. 

After providing the details click on  to complete adding external login details or click on   to go back to display user page.
